Create a free account → choose a tutor → pick an available slot → pay securely via Stripe. Your payment is held in escrow until 24 hours after the lesson.
Yes. Cancel or reschedule up to 4 hours before the start time inside your dashboard. If something urgent happens closer to the lesson, you can still request a refund (see below).
We operate a No-Questions-Asked Refund Guarantee. Request a refund at any time—whether before or after the lesson—and we’ll return the full amount to your original payment method.
By default, only whiteboard notes are saved. You can enable full session recording in settings (both student and tutor must consent) to review later.
Learners under 18 are welcome, but a parent or guardian must create the account, make payments, and supervise sessions.
You pay for a bundle upfront at a discounted rate. Each lesson is still individually refundable; any unused lessons can be refunded in full on request.
Yes. All transactions run through Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant. FoundTutor never stores your card details on its servers.
Tutors receive their payout 24 hours after a lesson ends—once the escrow window closes and no refund request is active. If a refund is issued later, FoundTutor covers the cost; tutors keep their earnings.
